Welcome to our School!
Our academy has 45 places available for children aged 4 starting Reception in September 2026.

We would also encourage you to visit us as we are very proud of our school and would welcome the opportunity to show you round. There is an open morning for prospective parents on Friday 21st November (9.30am-11.00am). Please contact the school office (01484 531 669) for more details.
Applications for September 2026
Children can start reception year at primary school from the September after their fourth birthday.
You can apply online for a primary school or middle school place between 1 September 2025 and 15 January 2026.

Please note applications close on the 15th January 2026 for children to start in Reception in September 2026.
The Academy Council of St. Joseph's is the Admissions Authority for the school. Please refer to the Admissions Policy.
Applications must be made on the Kirklees website by 15 January 2026. If parents/carers feel that they should be in a specific category i.e. Baptised Catholic, then they are required to also complete a Supplementary Information Form and provide the required evidence to school by the above deadlines.
